“meetyourmeat.com is available for consumers to literally track where their meat came from: from farm to slaughter house to packaging to shipping to the point of purchase just by searching the upc label.”
[happy cows don't always come from california.]
”freecouture.com is dedicated to the appropriation and dissemination of priceless garments once owned by public figures who have gotten all the milage out of them the media will allow.”

hello darling:
I’m not entirely sure if these websites are in existence right now, but they are some pretty sweet ideas.
I’m all about the freecouture.com, but i’m sure some people will use that against its intended purposes. For instance, Ebayers will have a hay day.
And the meat thing, wonderful. That would rock, especially in cases of E-Coli and Mad Cow Disease, etc.
Nuff said.
Comment by jennypoo February 24, 2008 @ 11:17 pmI love the first idea. It has that level of interactivity that I know can turn out to be influential. The Tag line is catchy enough to automatically raise awareness and I believe that this will peak peoples interests in local and fresh sources of their food. Hopefully resulting in happier/ healthier meat.
Comment by anaquez February 25, 2008 @ 5:54 pmI agree with you happy cows definitely don’t always come from CA. I have seen that site before and it is pretty gross what goes on in factory farms. It definitely makes you think twice. I think the couture thing could be interesting. I had never heard of that before, so that may be a cool topic to explore.
Comment by sarahmc26 February 25, 2008 @ 7:34 pmMan must eat girl. The food chain has to keep moving to make it balanced. Someone’s got to eat someone. It’s like we can’t have more herbivores than carnivores…
Comment by nmichel February 26, 2008 @ 1:20 ami have met my meat. [mostly eat our chickens or hunted venison... it is good to know where the food comes from]
